Shaker Historical Society

MORE
For 70 years we have been celebrating all things Shaker. We operate a museum with temporary exhibits as well as permanent ones about the Shakers of North Union and the development of Shaker Heights.

UPCOMING EVENTS

We are a block NORTH of Shaker Blvd and a block EAST of Lee Road.

We are close to the Shaker Rapid RTA Green Line stop at Lee Road.

Free parking is behind the museum facing the garage, or on the street facing west only on the north side of the street.

The Shaker Historical Society was founded in 1947 by 12 volunteers who sought to preserve the legacy of the North Union Shakers! Today, we need volunteers to help us with a number of projects - some of which you can even do at home!

VOLUNTEER

We teach audiences of all ages  about the exceptional history of this place. Embrace the past, present and future of Shaker Heights and its impact on the region by making your donation today!
