The Shaker Historical Society is reopening Wednesday, July 1! For more information about our Ohio History Connection-approved reopening plan and guidelines, please visit our COVID-19 information page.



  • Running from June 27-August 31, Bike Shaker 2020 takes you on a self-guided tour of 20 historical sites around the city. Hop on your bike and learn about local history! 

  • Budding archaeologists can learn from their home and in their own backyards durinShaker Dig 6: Virtual Edition, running from July 27-30. Registration information will be made available soon.

  • The Shaker Historical Society is proud to join over 500 museums around the country in the Museums for All program, which encourages people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits. Visitors with EBT cards can now visit the museum for free!
