The passing of Mary Alice (Mickey) Horner

The Shaker Historical Society regrets to inform you that a dear, dear friend and longstanding member of the Shaker Historical Society has sadly died. Mrs. Mary Alice Horner (known to her friends as Mickey), wife of John Horner - was an exceptionally generous woman who gave of herself often to many non-profit organizations. She could be seen at most of our Gracious Gardens of Shaker Heights events, even when she was in her 90s!

We know that many in this community know and love Mickey, and we wish all of those who knew her peace remembering the wonderful and happy times shared with this wonderful lady. You have our heartfelt condolences.
