Past and current interns have come to SHS from institutions all over. We have welcomed students from middle school to grad school! Interns have come to us from Eastern Washington State University, Kent State University, Cleveland State University, John Carroll University, Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis, Ohio State University, University of Cambridge (UK), William & Mary, Akron University, and University of Kentucky!

All year round, interns and senior project students learn about local history, museum, library and gallery professions when they partner with the Shaker Historical Society to further their education! ​Whether it is for the summer or during the academic year, we have many projects that might suit you.
